What we actually ship

Concrete tools, not consulting decks — here is what lands in your infrastructure.

The Co & Sons platform is delivered as a set of composable modules: a managed API gateway with automatic rate-limiting and circuit-breaker logic; a real-time event bus built on top of open standards so you avoid proprietary lock-in; a deployment pipeline with one-command rollback; and a monitoring suite that aggregates logs, traces, and metrics into a single pane of glass. Each module is independently adoptable — you can start with just the API gateway today and add the event bus when your architecture demands it. Everything integrates with the tools your team already uses: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Datadog, PagerDuty, and more.

Platform modules at a glance

Each module is independently useful and more powerful in combination.

Managed API Gateway

Handle authentication, rate-limiting, request transformation, and circuit-breaking in a single hosted layer. No Nginx configs, no custom middleware sprawl — policy-as-code definitions version-controlled alongside your application code for clean, auditable governance.

Real-time Event Bus

Decouple your services with a managed event bus that supports at-least-once and exactly-once delivery semantics. Consumer groups, dead-letter queues, and replay windows come out of the box so you spend time designing your domain logic, not your messaging infrastructure.

CI/CD Pipeline Engine

Automated build, test, and deployment workflows triggered from your existing Git repositories. Blue-green and canary deployment strategies are configurable in a single YAML file, and one-command rollback means a bad release is never more than thirty seconds from being undone.

Unified Observability Suite

Correlated logs, distributed traces, and custom metrics all in one dashboard. Define SLO burn-rate alerts, set anomaly detection thresholds, and export to your existing incident management tool. Mean time to resolution drops because you stop switching between five browser tabs to diagnose one problem.

API Documentation Portal

Auto-generated, always-in-sync documentation built from your OpenAPI spec. Includes interactive try-it-now sandboxes, code samples in JavaScript, Python, Go, and Ruby, and a versioned changelog so external developers know exactly what changed and when.

“The API Gateway module cut our time-to-first-integration for new partners from two weeks down to under two days. The documentation portal means our BD team can hand a prospect an interactive demo environment without involving an engineer. That change alone accelerated three commercial deals in our pipeline last quarter.”

Open standards, no lock-in

We build on Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and CloudEvents — not proprietary abstractions.

Every architectural decision at Co & Sons is made with portability in mind. We do not want you dependent on us; we want you successful. Our platform is built on Kubernetes for orchestration, OpenTelemetry for observability instrumentation, and the CloudEvents specification for event schemas. If you decide to move to a different provider in three years, your application code, your schemas, and your observability setup travel with you. This is what scale built on confidence looks like — technology choices that serve your business rather than serving our retention metrics.

Frequently asked product questions

Straight answers to the questions engineers and CTOs ask before they commit.

Can I adopt just one module without the full platform?

Yes. Every module is sold and deployed independently. The most common entry point is the Managed API Gateway, which delivers value on day one regardless of whether you adopt the rest of the platform. You can layer in additional modules as your architecture evolves.

Which cloud providers do you support?

AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure are all supported with first-class Terraform modules. We also support hybrid deployments where your application runs on-premise and connects to our managed control-plane via a private network link.

How long does initial onboarding take?

Most teams complete initial onboarding — from account creation to first production traffic through the gateway — within one business day. Our onboarding engineers are available during Irish business hours for live guidance, and our documentation covers every step in detail.

Is the platform GDPR-compliant for Irish and EU businesses?

Yes. Data is stored in EU-region data centres by default, with no cross-border transfer to third countries without explicit configuration. We provide Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) for all customers, and our audit log feature satisfies most GDPR accountability requirements out of the box.
